Metfab's JetEdge waterjet cutting system allows us to cut virtually any material to almost any shape imaginable. Also known as abrasivejet cutting, this system uses a combination of high pressure water and garnet to cut through materials considered "un-machineable" by conventional cutting methods. With this system we can cut through materials of any thickness up to 6 inches, with tolerances as close as ± 0.005 inch. Letters, inlays, panels, irregular shapes can all be cut with ease to your exact specifications. And with our SigmaNest software package we can reduce waste by nesting multiple parts into a single program.
